Backup2009 Pro
Backup2009 Pro is an unique backup program able to create disk or partition image, including Windows file system, backup data in zip file format, and copy or synchronize files. It supports any kind of medium (network drive, USB external disk, FTP server, CD DVD...). Multiple tools help the user to take control over backup tasks. Through an Explorer like interface the user can easily access to any backup components: script detail, log files, catalog, history and available backup files. For security purpose Backup2009 Pro allows you to define an alternate destination folder, in case the primary destination is not available. You can also define a second copy folder where archive file is stored. The archive backup can also be uploaded to 2 different ftp servers. Backup2009 Pro allows to backup or copy files, even if they are open, through the Microsoft?s Virtual Shadow Copy. Scripts can be scheduled. Backup2009 Pro adds tasks to the Windows Scheduler. Sophisticated tasks can be scheduled (repeat each x minutes?). The Agenda gives you a view of all jobs scheduled per day. The archive file can be compressed using standard zip, zip64 or Bzip2, compatible with Winzip. Archive file can be strongly encrypted using AES 256. Scripts can be grouped in a metascript. The metascript can be scheduled like a script. A metascript can mix backup and synchronization scripts. In synchronization mode Backup2009 Pro can synchronize folders or entire disk even over a network. Synchronization can be done in 3 modes: one way, two ways or clone. Files can be encrypted using AES encryption key. Backup2009 Pro generates a catalog from where you can search files or group of files, and restore selected files from the Catalog. From the History you can view all backup activity. The History is also available from the Windows Explorer. A lot of useful functions are available: disk clean-up, file burner, standard profile, creating bootable medium, clone disks?
